Biography
Ryan completed his doctoral work under Prof. Hyunjoon Kong and Prof. Hee-Sun Han in chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ryan’s work focused on the microfluidic assembly of polymer-stabilized antioxidant crystals for oxidative stress control in cells. In 2023, Ryan joined the Temenoff Lab in the BME department, in order to further his work in biomaterial science and regenerative medicine.
