This workshop is presented by ASTM Committee E55 on Manufacture of Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Products and will take place in the Krone Engineered Biosystems Building (EBB) at Georgia Tech, on October 2nd. The ASTM technical meetings of Committee E55 will follow on October 3rd & 4th at the same location. Both the workshop and the technical meetings are open to all. The workshop will include researchers and students involved in the Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT; an NSF engineering research center based at Georgia Tech with deputy director, Dr. Temenoff, University of Georgia, University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, and University of Wisconsin – Madison, focused on developing new technologies for cell scale-up), and other representatives from industry, academia, clinicians, and regulatory bodies involved in cell and tissue manufacturing.
